I just have to say, I'm browsing through the swap galleries and everything in this swap is SO NICE! You guys all did a great job! I'll be keeping an eye out for Round 2 since I'd love to be in on the next one!  Grin

We're very lucky - even though we're only about halfway through the send outs and receipts, we have some amazingly talented crafters in this swap!

Done?  Yikes.

I have to admit, I am not as far along as I would like.  I had a bunch of other things that had earlier date obligations.  I am the person they coined "if it weren't for the last minute nothing would ever get done" for.

BUT, today I finished the last of those pesky tasks (grandson's felt grocery bag full of felt food and 1 shirts/2 pants to go with his other birthday gifts - all started on Friday, so at least I'm quick lately).

I've planned batgirl's item for so long it almost seems done in my head  Wink  But, it is partly done, I have cleaned up the craft area so there's room to work and I have set aside every night this week and all day Friday to finish and get this thing in the mail on time.

Full steam ahead!

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

Send outs are Thursday - please plan accordingly, if you have not already sent out.

Thank you.

I took advantage of the sub-zero miserable weather as an excuse to stay in and clean and craft all weekend. It was pretty great, actually.

Auntiem has received and asked me to post pics  Smiley

I made her some knitted slippers, with non-slip bottoms.  They're 90% Knitty's Twinkletoes, but (after making some for my sister) I lengthened the ties to a gazillion stitches instead of 66  Shocked It should make them a LOT easier to tie, though I'd never recommend it to another knitter!  Grin  Luckily I'm a perfectionist, and saw it looked a lot better, so I managed to do all 4 before screaming  Grin

For some reason the pics are either really over exposed, or really under exposed (still getting used to the SO's camera  Roll Eyes)

Slightly over-exposed, on the table

Thankfully we have the same sized feet, so you get some under-exposed modelling pics

and, showing the bottoms, with the non-slip pads, and the "extra bits for darning"
