Everything looks fantastic! Where did you get the pattern for the cactus??? I've been wanting to make one of those for quite some time. I would leave off the face though. Something about me can't use a pincushion that's an animal or has a face. I just feel so MEAN and GUILTY!!! lol

I modified it a lot though to make the cactus plant part taller so many pins could be added.

Thanks for posting some pictures... I absolutely love everything! I will probably bring the journal in to use for notetaking at work. Everyone will be jealous at meetings. And then I am thinking about hanging the cross stitch on the front door... either in a frame or maybe I will turn it into a little wall hanging. The tree has been on my wists for a long time and it is even cuter in person. The stitching on the fall leaves is very cool and the cherry blossoms remind me of summer, so that one is going to be on until the lakes thaw in April (wishful thinking).

The mouse is so adorable (even cuter in person, really) and I want to post an action shot of the cactus soon because I think he will look even more cactus-like with some prickly action. I really needed a new pincushion and he's so cute!

I have two more things to finish up for SAH and will probably send on Thursday.

Thanks again and I will try to post a few action shots after I get home tonight!
