I ended up getting into carving because I lived in the middle of nowhere for stamping supplies and have a real name that is NEVER on anything that's mass produced.  So it was either forever hunt for stamps or fork over a small fortune to business office stores for custom rubber stamps aka return address ones.  Too boring for me.

These are just amazing!!! I am curious about the eraser-I've never seen one like that. And the detail is so cool.
MunLStmpr-I really think you should post these separate under miscellaneous projects, because not all of Craftsterdom will be smart/savvy enough to know to look in our gallery at the fabulous artiness we are getting Grin

I think they will do a bit better mounted, but I wanted the package to be easy to ship.

I love the swirls and the door is the coolest!!

I have a hard time working with that pink stuff.  I can't get the exacto blade through it smoothly enough for my preference.

It was pretty soft, but the only thing available without driving downtown to the real art store...I HATE driving downtown. The grey is a different brand & much easier to work with, stiffer without being too hard.

I think I'll be happy releasing a feather from a cherub  Grin.
I just can't seem to carve so tiny and my stamps are coming out bigger because of it. Drat.
Nice work Penlowe.

mamaedgar- What a great set of stamps you have there! I love the door- it could either be creepy and sinister, or inspirational ("when one door closes, another one opens" kind of thing). Nice carving Penlowe!
