Weird stuff going on-not sure how this thread got locked but it was. Hmmm.....

Anyhooo...It's sticky'd and ready for more posting!

Yes that was strange, especially since it didn't stop me from posting a reply when it said it was locked!

Personal swaps: I have lots of home-grown rosemary and white sage available, plus altered journals.

My July update:

In the last month I did the satchel with wolf and rabbit, the little tree and the teddy bear in the blue bag.  Holy time consuming project, Batman!  I am going to take a break from it now and return to it in the fall.  My next project is a lap quilt from merwing's doodle stitching that is hand-embroidered so I'll probably just continue on this thread with that project too.

I thought I was going nuts, I couldn't find the reply button! I'm so glad it wasn't me, lol.

Hi everybody!
I took the last few posts concerning what you do while stitching and made a new thread.  Smiley

I haven't uploaded a picture of my progress in a while so I thought it was about time for one!
I'm happy that it seems to finally be coming along. ( i put a highlighter next to it for size reference)

Ditto that! I think that one would drive me over the edge. I admire you for doing such a piece.

MissKerouac, I love the way your piece is coming along! It looks gorgeous!

I figured it's time that I updated you all on my progress since I posted this project on June 20.

As you can see, I did some more of the straw ( Tongue) and then veered off into the fun, colorful robes of the angel. I'm pretty happy with the amount I've gotten done, so thanks to all of you who are keeping me on track.
