Since the KY board is the only place I can post this and anyone actually know what I'm talkin about I'm asking you all. Has anyone made any crafts using Ale-8 bottles? Or have any ideas for some cool stuff to make with them?? Please post pics if you have any...

Ale-8(1) is awesome. It's a little harder to find it up here(NKY). but when I drive down to the farm(OWENTON) its everywhere. I would look up bottlecap on this site. There are projects for earing's, belts, purses, picture frames etc etc.

"But why don't you scream now?" Alice asked, holding her hands ready to put over her ears again.

"Why, I've done all the screaming already," said the Queen. "What would be the good of having it all over again?"

Well....For some Ale-8 art...

An Ale 8 pinwheel.
An Ale 8 birdhouse (I have no idea how to drill glass)
An incense burner.

For an incense burner, you'd have to drill a hole on the bottom of the bottle and a few on the sides. Light the incense (so it's burning, not inflamed) and drop it in it.

You could make a light out of it but that would be complicated.

Anymore ideas, just ask.

I've seen flattened ale8 bottles as wall hangings at some local craft festivals. It almost looks as though the bottles would have to be heated to do this.  I'm not sure.

I'm a new crafter, but old Ale-8 drinker, and the first thing that comes to mind would be functional art like taking the cardboard 6 pack holder, cutting it apart and coating it with clear duct tape to make a wallet or purse or bag or something. Man, that stuff is good and just now available in western Kentucky. I just about flipped when I saw it in Kroger.
