Here's my version of the comic book toilet seat. I did this one ages ago.
I didnt know what to finish it in, so I used Polyurithane (Spelling???). Its for decking I think and chemicals are fine to use on it.

A close up pf the top

This took FOREVER to do but I was really happy with the results.

That's awesome!  I can even recognize the issues some of the panels are from.   Smiley  If I used the bathroom at your house, I'd be in there for a very long time, just reading your toilet seat!

This is hilarious!  I have some Aquaman comics, and my kid's into all kinds of manga.  Oh, our toilet's going to try to look as nice as yours, I think!

I've been wanting to try this for ages, but I have 3 boys under 7 and was afraid it wouldn't hold up to the cleaning and abuse.  Thanks for the post, I'm gonna try it now.

Well because I used the polyurithane coating to seal it, I can just lean it as normal. The sealant is okay to use chemicals on. You can find it at your local hardware store. It's made for decking. Just look on the tin to make sure it is resiliant to chemicals.

Also, I love your avatar! I LOOOOVVVEE mark ryden! I have "Rose" tatooed on my back.
This is not a very good pic, but you get the idea. She still aint finished yet
