I just purchased a skirt from the local TS.  I cant take a pic yet but I'm thinking it will make a fantastic purse.  so since I'm not that crafty would one of you talented ladies suggest an easy purse patter (i saw some hobo purses today at walmart which reminded me of a favored purple purse i had in my younger days).  are they easy to make?  i welcome any and all comments.  thanks

I've only ever made one hobo bag, but they aren't difficult.

Watch this to see how easy it is.

The pattern used can be found here.

oh thank you so much.  I've not been able to 'look' like i want to on this site having just recently found it and currently my time just isn't what I'd like it to be but i bought dowels so i can make myself and dd (and possibly ds) knitting needles.  I just have to saw what amazingly creative women (and men? not sure if there are any member so dont want to snub you guys)you all are just from my skimming posts.  How talented and inventive, I'm in awe.
