Buffy the Vampire Slayer Scarf - NOW WITH CHART!!!

I wanted to make something special for my pseudo sister-in-law (my boyfriend's brother's fiancée) for Christmas.  I'd just made a scarf with the Imperial insignia from Star Wars on it for her fiancé for his birthday, so I decided to make her a scarf featuring the "B" logo from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  She's a huge fan and her name is Betsy, so the B worked on multiple levels. 
I was so surprised when I started googling "Buffy the Vampire Slayer Knitting" and found no charts!  Buffy KAL, yes, but a chart of the logo?  I couldn't find a thing.  So I decided to make my own.  After finding the logo, printing out a big JPEG and doing some creative tracing with graph paper, I was pretty pleased with my results. 
The scarf is made with Patons Decor Yarn in Dark Country Blue & Light Country Blue.  B/c it had to be done quickly other than the intarsia panels it's just a simple garter stitch striped scarf.  I made the panel for the second end separately and then grafted it on so I wouldn't have to work it upside down.  Plus, this let me do the intarsia (which is in stockinette) at a time when I could pay attention and then carry the rest of the scarf with me and madly knit whenever I had a moment free (on the subway, at work, in bars - wherever!)
It was done just in time and Betsy loved it!  I'm so happy with my first ever foray into designing my own pattern/chart.

Sorry I have no photos of the back - I wish I'd thought to take a couple b/c I was very proud of it! But it's been given now, so unfortunately that ship has sailed.  Anyway - enjoy the chart all you knitting Buffy fans!

No way.....that is soo cool. I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer. You know, for next time you could use this instead of using graph paper. Just get the image and upload it and it will generate a chart for you.
