My birdy mobile and the nightstand corner [aka the woodland theme]

So I found this metal mobile at target for $1.25, it was a clearance seasonal item. Anyhow I bought it not knowing that I wanted to do with it [its meant for photos but that wouldn't do for me].

After rearranging and tidying up the craft room, I came across a pack of white feathers.  And so was born the birdy mobile.


It is located above my nightstand




I loooove my little deer and owl. Both were random finds for next to nothing price.  And the lamp was originally brown and tan bamboo.  But I painted it white.  I am going for a bright calm spa kind of theme in my bedroom.

When one of my friends came by the other day she dubbed my room woodland themed.

The look ties together wonderfully.  YOu did great for lots less than a designer would!  Lol.

Funny you would say that, because I am a designer. [although not certified for a little while longer]
I studied design at VA Techs school of architecture.

I'm tempted to try something similar in my room.  Is the mobile normally for hanging pictures?

yeah.  If you have a target near by, they were in the seasonal gifty section in the mens area.
And if there are any left they were superbly cheap.
