I'm glad you liked it!  I've been spinning some roving like that I carded for you, and it's not so nice as it appears, so I must warn you, I think there may be some second cuts in there that I failed to remove, or something, it tends to be kinda slubby... so, you may want to make that into a chunky yarn (you may have no choice!)     I'm still trying to figure out how to make fleece into roving.

A2K, I hope you can use stuff in the box to make some crazy Halloween venting! I'm not even really into Halloween but I had an idea that never came to fruition and now you've got to try!

anyways... man, next swap is going to be better(for my receiver). i found two stores this weekend. One called Wild Purls which is all handcrafted yarns, local rovings, fiber tools and etc.... HEAVEN!

Yeah... i bought waaay to much stuff and i will have to destash soon since my wool felt, wool, wool yarns and fabrics, and even beads have more than doubled.

I'm loving looking at everyones hoards of stuff! My boxes should be arriving today but who knows my mail man has an extreme attitude problem. The post office here is great they will tape my flat rate box if they feel it's going to explode, but, the off set is a mail man that thinks if it snows, rains, the wind is blowing in a certain direction or who knows what is an excuse not to walk up the 12 stairs to my house to drop the mail off so I'll go 2-3 days with no mail until I call to complain again.

whitebelt I am so jealous of your local store. I'm just getting into spinning and if I want anything other than alpaca I'm going to have to order it

i got alpaca for 1.95 for a couple ounces.

i couldn't believe how cheap it was... PM what you might be looking for and i will try to get you the address/info of the local farm that is selling it. they have all kind of sheep rovings and such at this store.

Aw, Whitebelt, I may end up hitting you up for spinning stuff too!  I wish we had some sort of organized local supply thing, but Illinois is oddly bereft of these sort of things, and even when we go up to Minneapolis, all the spinning stores are in the far north of the state.   

Oddly enough, alpaca is the easiest thing for me to lay my hands on locally, too...

I received my awesome package from Oops Creations.  There was a ton of stuff in that box!  There were cookie cutters, an altoid can, plastc Easter eggs, tiki towels, fabric, ribbon, and the list goes on and on and on!  Thank you Oops Creations!!!!
