Ack!  People are sending early, and I am still afflicted with Turnstacrap.  It's been a straight week and a half!

That is okay, as I am sick and don't want to spread the germs, so I haven't done a thing in 3 days.  Although I think I finally decided on what I am going to make.

I'm still waiting on the USPS to deliver my friggin' supplies.  Angry

If it doesn't get here by this weekend, I will go buy more IN STORE and I guess just have extras. So much for de-stashing if THAT happens!

Awww so nice to be wanted!@!! Glad you wish I was your partner... but my lips are SEALED... SEALED I tell ya!!!

When you sending mine?

hehe

you are so most definitely wanted, LOL!  Cheesy

However, I am not so easily tricked into revealing the deep dark secrets in my mind....

because I suffer of "old fart's disease" and if you tried to torture me into revealing anything at all I would have to go look it up in my notes.   Grin

now if you lost your notes you'd be in real trouble......

I re traced my patterns today for my stuff I am making bought the other stuff to make it yesterday and got enough to make me some too sweet, just finding the ummm thing to go on it is tricky, I want the set to match but the thing is to big so I need to stick to a theme and make the other one have a different thing to gussy it up....

.....ummm am I the only one confused now?
.....I'm sure they said I'd lose it at 40 not 34....oh man I thought I had 6 years to go, now where was I again..... Roll Eyes

I'm thinking about tweaking an item of clothing for my partner. However, I'm not a sewing crafter and am not sure how measurements relate to sizes. I can't very well ask my partner. If I use (for example) bust measurement, would I just make sure the width of the top is half that?

Now, that being said, I am not positive I'm doing this, so you won't know if you get a top or bottom, you can't be sure it's me.

You also have to take into account some people think of bust size as their bras band size misintrepreting what bust size means.  So it can be hard to craft for someone you can't talk to.  Example my bust size is close to 57" but since I am a DD to DDD depending on cut that makes my band size just 46".  I wear a 2X but SO walked into a lingerie store and told the girl I was a 2X and forgot to mention my bust size and it ended up too small in the chest.

Lesson from this it is best to leave a little extra room, they can always bring it in a little they can't always necessarily let it out.

I hope this helps

Hey, shouldn't we not be posting that we sent a package (silly superhooker!) in case only a few people send early? Then the recipients will be able to narrow down the possible FOCs who sent to them. Oh wait, or are you going to reveal who you are in that one big package? Cause if so, it won't matter I guess!

And, now I can't ask someone else to ask my person their top size because it'll be obvious. Ugh. I should have done that instead. Oh well, hopefully I can guess right.

I'm not doing personal swaps right now, but if you're interested, go ahead and PM me anyway--maybe we can work it out for later. Smiley
