Would anyone be up for a chunky book page swap?

Chunky book pages are small (4x4 inch, or 10.2 x 10.2 cm) pages that can be bound into small books.  The pages are chunky in two ways:  they are made on a sturdy base (like heavy watercolor paper, or two layers of heavy cardstock, or even matboard), and they are often heavily embellished with buttons, ribbons, etc.

Here are some links to chunky pages I've made:
Vintage Lingerie (no nudity, I promise) Page
Travel and Leafy Pages

I think a chunky book page swap on Craftster would be TONS of fun.  Who's in?

I think for an initial swap like this, the theme should be broad and inclusive.  Either "artist's choice" or something like "art & creativity".

I think this sounds like loads of fun ... I have seen a few and they are wonderful. So, I would be in, as long as I could manage it with the Tip-In Swap.

I have some lonely chunky pages that I want to bind up already so I'd be in!  Would there be an allowance for a margin on the left too?

Are you thinking a few partners at a time?

Here is a picture of some really cool examples of chunky/fat books.

I might be persuaded, depending on the timing.

Personally, I would rather not have a margin on the side. I'd probably do a spiral type bind or use big ol' binder rings.

I'm thinking of doing this monthly, with 3 partners per month.  But that might be too much.

I'm having a real conflict over the margin for binding.  I trade chunky pages on one site that trades 4x4 pages, with no margin, and on another site that trades 4.5 x4 pages, with the extra half inch on the left side for binding.

So I can never combine my pages from the two into one book!  Drives me crazy.

I know several people on craftster have already participated in chunky swaps with 4.5 x 4 inch pages, so if the majority wants that, that's what we can do.  But I can really go either way.

My first bunch have a border, guess I could chop it off them for binding.  I like the 4 x 4 size...and I still have tons of matboard to play with.

I really like the 4x4 size too -- they are such nice little squares.

As long as I can juggle it with the tip in, of course I'd be interested.
