i haven't seen it but i was going to, was gogol in it? i first heard them in Everything is Illuminated. They just did a piece on them on NPR this week and they've been around like 10 years.

no, just the music, and one of the characters was based on eugene hutz. he was friends with the director, or something like that.
it's quite similar to everything is illuminated at times, visually at least. although i never did fully understand that movie- there were no subtitles and i'm not quite practiced in ukrainian Smiley

Wow this is amazing! I just had a look through all of the fairys etc you have made. My favorite is definately the flying fairy. She has the prettiest face.

From the thumbnail on the main page, I honestly thought this was a picture of a real person. The neck is the best part, she looks so real!! Great job, I'm really impressed.

Right now, he's kinda sad...all bloated just a head with one arm. He's not cute...

He's been gathering dust since I saw your baby fairy tute like last year.

Maybe I'll pick him back up again and post piccies. I could use the reassurrance.  Grin Wink Smiley

Nanner et al,

Here is my first little pudgy elf-thingy baby.

Really, it's a head with an arm.

He's sad, but I plan on doing MORE!

it's actually a really cute face. it's usually easier to work from the torso out. meaning sculpt the torso then add arms and legs to that rather than doing an arm & head to build a torso onto. just keep going, it's a good start. I think you should bake him and put it on top of your monitor, that would be cute Smiley
