OK. Not exactly crafty but I flipped through this book today at a bookstore and it is so kitschy and funny. It's photos and descriptions of 50 years of Ronco products.

But Wait! There's More!: The Irresistible Appeal and Speil of Ronco and Popeil

If you think you don't know what Ronco products are -- just think of the last info-mercial you saw!

It's funny too because at a thrift store recently I saw a silly Ronco product from the 60's (?) called The Buttoneer which I almost bought for a laugh:
http://www.nostalgia.condoris.net/ronco/buttoneer.htm

It allows you to put on buttons without sewing using this tool and these little plastic things that remind me of what stores use to attach tags to clothing.

Man, I thought I was just a sucker for the info-mercials and now they're getting me at thrift stores too...

And now there's an ad for The Buttoneer on this page.  Teehee!

My dad used his trusty Buttoneer all the time. I bet he still has it and uses it.
