Oh, no! Not more marble magnets!

When I was in school for interpreting/transliterating I absolutely fell madly in love with deaf culture.  I can't get enough of it.  Though it's not my major anymore (I moved out of state), it's still a passion and I teach ASL to anyone who wants to learn!  Wink

Anyway, I made these about 5 years ago and never got to put them on the fridge til just now.  I found them in a baggy in a box and was so excited I had to post it on here.

I was addicted to these a while back.  I still make them for little charity events cuz they're easy and people like 'em, but this is the only set I've kept for me  Grin

That's great! I'm gonna have to steal your idea.  My cousin is deaf and I know some ASL, but husband doesn't and he always tries to sign the letters in the alphabet.  He always screws up, but I'm sure that if I had these on the fridge he'd learn quickly!!  Grin

Oh my gosh I love those! I am so book marking them! I'd love to know where you got the image for them.
I worked at a camp for mentally and physically handcaped for a summer and loved "talking" to one of our deaf campers. I learned a lot of sign launguage jsut from having to use it. He brought books so if I didn't know a word I could look it up and ask. Smiley
I loved using sign language. My brother and another girl from church worked up there too so it was like our secret language. Smiley
Man I want to learn some more! You can't learn enough!
Great job!

Yay!  I love these!  I'm learning sign language right now so that I can communicate with my deaf (and Deaf) patients when I become an audiologist.  Deaf culture is very interesting and addicting!
