lol I have the Vogue pattern in my 'To Do' pile, right after a million things for other people. Heatherxxll your avatar cracked me up! I showed my hubby & he started singing & dancing Hammer-Style

Isn't it the best??? My boyfriend sent me the photo, and I'm using it for almost EVERYTHING...hahaha I'd love to come across this pattern in a thrift store!

Ugh this is giving me such summer dress fever. I can't wait until I'm moved and unpacked so that I can start sewing hardcore again.

My problem is I keep getting things with deadlines inserted in the pile above the 'just sometime soon because it's for me' stuff. Dresses for my girls for Easter, swap packages to be mailed before I leave on my trip, stuff for Church event happening the week of Easter, that dress just keeps sinking deeper & deeper in the pile.... I suppose I should curtail my swapping, but it's so fun!

Right off hand, I swear there are no photos of me in any of the dresses (figures, huh...) but I want to post them on the board very soon. Also, I was looking through the spring 08 McCall's patterns and saw this pattern, M5582:

http://img.sewingtoday.com/cat/40000/itm_img/M5582.jpg

The silhouette looks the same, but with just a different bodice and a fabric belt instead of a waistband...I'm definitely going to give this pattern a try!

Sorry to dredge up old posts, but i searched for this pattern bc I have it headed my way in the mail! I was just wondering if anyone had success with either of these (this or the original quoted at the top) and had pics? Thanks!
