I did a lot of sewing this weekend for my babe who will be born in March.  I made the sleep sack on the left using this pattern:

It was super easy...first time I ever did a zipper too  Grin

I made the baby leg warmers using a pair of knee high socks from target and this tutorial:

And then the huge bag using this tutorial:

I looooooooooved the satin-y Pooh bear fabric I found at Joann's so used it for the lining.

Here are some photos:

Awesome and fantastic!  We love our baby leg warmers for our daughter (13 months).  they are especially important during the crawling days.  Congrats on your babe to be!

Those look great and thanks for the link to the sleep sack Cheesy  My little man is due in May, but I think I could do it in a soft knit or light flannel.  Cheesy

It all looks nice ,but I love the baby legwarmers! I'd never seen those before, and from looking at the tutorial they look like they're pretty easy to make.

Good job on the sleepsack. The first time I put a zipper in I had to scrap the whole project - it was that messed up, lol. I'm one of those people who has to learn how to do something right by screwing it up, though, lol.

Yeah, I am surprised I got the zipper right.  I made my first zippered change purse a few days later and totally screwed THAT up LOL  Guess it was a fluke I got the sleep sack right. Roll Eyes
