I LOVE it!! It's so cute. Can I ask, how did you finish off the sleeve holes? It looks like you made binding with the lining fabric, is that right? I would love to try this now that I've done a hoodie. It looks like it's basically a hoodie without sleeves. Also, was the fur in the hood hard to do? Any tips would be appreciated!!

My advice with the hood size, I just traced a hood my daughter already had, onto a cut up grocery bag so I had a pattern to use ove and over again. It fit perfectly because I had her tell me which of her existing Hollister hoodies was her fave!!

ahh thats a great idea. thanks! yeah i just used the red fabric as lining. and yes i actually used a hoodie tutorial online to get through it successfully. the fur wasn't too bad. my sewing machine is a million years old so it had trouble going through so much fabric but that's about it. i just sewed a small doubled-over layer of fur in between the outside and lining on both sides of the hood. hope that makes sense/helps.

If it's too short on the bottom, you could always do another hem/strip of that blue.    I agree that hoods are a pain. . . It helps to have a second person helping you.

But the colors are fabulous.  You have a great eye for color!
