I made this scarf for my friend Kayla.



It began life as a silk shirt...It was a shapeless monstrosity, but look at this fabric!



So I added ruffles and a button


As modeled by me:

fantastic! and you know, this is a great idea for a lightweight scarf for spring...i love scarves as accessories even in warm weather, so this is a great idea for that!! nice work...love the ruffles!

I would also like to attest to this scarf's awesome (wait for it) ness. My favorite part? The awesome button and primary colors.
The ruffled scarf got introduced to Corporate America today and certainly livened it up. I can't wait to pair it with a cute t-shirt in the spring and fall months and a brightly colored jacket or hoodie. I see good things in this scarf's future.

I think the ugly blouse is celebrating its rebirth.  Did you have to hem the ruffle to keep it from unraveling?  I put silk shirt on my Goodwill list.  Thanks for sharing!
