Here is a wet felted camera case I made a while ago. A friend's friend has sheep and I got a bag of fresh shaved wool  Smiley The wool is not colored, and I had to card the wool, which took the longest time. I made a small bag of oilcloth to put inside the case to protect the camera from all the small fiber that come of from the wool and also to make it a little more water proof.

What an adorable camera case! I love the embroidery you've embellished it with, making it so much nicer than any black nylon camera bag. Thanks for the inspiration.
