my first attempts at polymer clay. rather addictive!

Your first try?    They look great!  I love the sprinkles, the elephant cookie, and the texture of the chocolate chip cookie.

the elephant is super awesome in all it's tiny glory, did you do him by hand? and I love the chocolate bonbons.

That's really really good for a first try. I'm the queen of fingerprints on clay. They are all so cute. I would of thought that that's what you do all the time. The pie and the donuts are my faves.

I actually saw minature food jewellery online at first and wanted to buy some. Then i thought, why not try making them with polymer clay (which i only remember as those horribly clumsy fingerprinted figurines from my childhood).

Making these goodies wasn't half as difficult as u thought it would be. And it seems having a sweet tooth is finally good for something!!

oh and the little elephant cookie is my fave kind of biscuit: Iced Zoo, which we used to eat in South Africa all the time. But I can't get them here in Holland .

(Yup, RiRa, the elephant was handmade. In hindsight I should've done him in opaque white, but I was curious to see what the translucent clay does).

I miss them so much, you can't get them here either. (I come from SA but for the past 8/9 years I've been living in Belgium - not that far from you so I know what you mean)

Beautiful necklaces, I really like the melting ice cream and the choc chip cookie, and of course the elephant one too.
