What happens if instead of yarn over, i do yarn under?

Sorry for all the posts by the way i keep thinking of new questions while im sat making many chains because thats all i can do *rolls eyes*

Do you mean the way that you wrap the yarn around the hook? I don't think that it really makes much difference. My sister and I both wrap the yarn around our hooks completely different and our projects always come out properly.

I don't think it makes a huge difference. It's really just the point of making a loop. I'll test it out for you.

Okay, I made a little swatch and all of my stitches came out the same. Just watch your tension. I noticed that the way of wrapping that I don't normally do made the stitches a lot tighter than the other.

I don't think it would make much of a difference, either. Just make sure to pick one method, because like dani.ELLE said, it affects your tension.

Btw--I take you're just learning? Have you looked on nexstitch.com? I've heard there are some nice vids on there. I haven't seen them personally, but I've been told they're really helpful. Here's a direct link to the videos: http://nexstitch.com/Tutorials.html.
