Started the DW Cloth today. Got the first 4 rows knit on after like 4 tries. I haven't knit in about 6 months, so I had to re-teech myself. But I'm using the same yarn I used here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=182441.msg3035104#msg3035104
It looks pretty already:)

After a couple more rows you'll be able to do it with your eyes closed in your sleep. Wink

Here's the progress so far. I messed up on the very first row of the sl 2 wyif, k2. but I didn't notice until too late (like three rows later.), so I'm not going back to fix, this one's just for me so I'm not too worried about it. Other than that, I'm pretty happy so far, but I have to get a little looser on the needles, I'm a little tense:(

I think you can see it closer if you go to my flickr.
Let me know if you have any suggestions!!
Oh and I always knit on circs when I can, that way I have the piece in my lap instead of in one of my hands, I find it a little easier!

Looks good.  I love the color.

I have just surrendered to being a tight knitter.  The only option is to maybe to a needle size higher (or figure out how not to be so tight, but I have given up on that Wink)

I finally gave up on that one last night. I frogged it, i did. I realized what I was doing wrong. I was counting 5 instead of 6 half the time and doing it right the other half of the time. So, I re0worked the 4 knit rows last night and will start on the pattern again today.

The tight knitting is just hard on my hands :(I will figure it out thought!!!!!I will not be defeated by the DW!!

ha!~ I told you I wouldn't be defeated!!!!Here's my DW. I'm only about a quarter of the way through, and I have a lot to get done, but my eyes and mind both have the pattern now, my hands still have to be coaxed, but they're following along allright Roll Eyes

Where's the picture?  I wanna see.  I have done so many DWs now, I can do a DW faster than any other cloth (and I'm a slooowww knitter).

Sorry, forgot about the pics!

Here's how far I've gotten. Which is further than I had gotten before I frogged it, and it looks better in person. I'm really bad at taking these pics though

Here's a close-up

I'm really happy with how it's coming along! Thanks for the support!!!!

It is gorgeous.  The DW is always best done with variegated yarns.  You will soon be addicted (if you aren't already Wink)
