I stumbled upon dishcloths about a month ago (the dishcloth swap) and am now completely hooked!  I love the fact that they can be knit up in one sitting, you can experiment with tons of patterns, and they are so portable.  Now, I have a dishcloth in my bag every day in case I have a seat on the subway to/from work.

And, of course, any swaps I participate in, you can bet there's a dishcloth included  .  Hope my friends/family like their Christmas presents of dishcloths!

About 99% or so of the swaps I'm in include a dishcloth.  I find dishcloths are my most well received gifts and I even have an aunt who has commissioned me to make some for her.  Dishcloths are super addicting and besides hats, are my favorite thing to knit.  Welcome to the addiction.

My husband had dental surgery and it lasted for six and a half hours.  However, I got a lot of knitting done while I waited! You can see my latest four dishcloths here:

Those are great KRB.

I am working on a couple of cloths for an intern at work who will be leaving for France to teach for a year.  I am almost done with the Eiffel Tower cloth and will then move onto the France cloth.  I hope she loves them.

I posted in the 2007 thread by mistake!     So, I'm reposting here.

Here are the cloths I recently made.  I used Sugar'n Cream: "Playtime" for the inside and yellow for the edge.

I just did a garter stitch for the first one and the "Darrell Waltrip" pattern for the second one.  Then, I crocheted the edge with a round of sc and then a round of picot stitches.
