im in!

Welcome.  We are kind of quiet right now, but in general are pretty chatty and very very helpful.

Why can't I get pictures to show on my post? I've tried three times now to show my latest and it doesn't work.

Though this area I'm not so helpful in since I use photobucket for my photos.

I am in the process of doing a couple more dish cloths, but it will be a couple of weeks before I can post them because they are for swaps.  Meanwhile I will enjoy everyone else's.

I use photobucket as well, sorry.
I have a bunch of cloths made and photographed, I just need to host them.
I'm sick though, so I think I'm going to bed within the next 20 minutes or so, and I still have my physics homework left to do >.<

More pictures. Here is my chinese waves, and the heart cloth I made. I'm not sure how well the heart shows up in the picture. I've done several picture patterns from that same site and they always turn out wonderfully. I also did the round cloth found here http://www.mielkesfarm.com/dishclth.htm  but didn't get a picture before it was snapped up for use. It turned out very well, and was very easy. I've used TLC "cotton plus" for washclothes recently, and they turn out well. It's a 50/50 cotton acrylirc blend but oh so soft.

chinese waves. the picture is dark. It is VERY bright colored in real life.

Your chinese waves lookes soo much better than mine.  What color did you use?  I can see the heart quite well.

I did one dishcloth this week and am almost done with a second one.  Of course as I have already said, they are for swaps, so it will be a week or so before I can post pictures.

oh man, I wish I could help with that picture problem!  I was having some major problems with Crafter's picture hosting :-/

Things have cleared the air and I think I can start on another dishcloth.  Turns out my Chinese Waves one works perfectly for a TV dinner cozy... :-p

I made the drop stitch one in a yellow variegated.  Yuuummy.

Okay peoples, I made the dropstitch cloth http://www.resirem.com/knitcloths08/?attachment_id=24
.

It works pretty good with variegated!

I really need to follow my own rule and go outside my skill level (or in my case, attention span... I HAVE the skill! lol)... need to pick something that will push me a bit.  I tried the Garterlac last year but... dangitall it was confusing.... I want something right BEFORE that level of difficulty Smiley

Ideas, anyone?

I've done Chinese Waves and this drop stitch one so far this year (and the round pinwheel one).  I thought there was one other one but I can't think of it right now.

And yes, I need to go pattern hunting again ;-)

Oh yeah, was thinking of linking to For Sale patterns, but only on my KAL blog.

More pictures. Here is my chinese waves, and the heart cloth I made.

I lust your Chinese Waves! Why does everyone's variegated come out so NEAT? LOL... it MIGHT be my guage? Or maybe I'm too critical.  Yeah, that has to be it :-/

Your heart looks lovely too.  I haven't attempted any imprint designs like that because it seems like they don't show up well, but your heart looks really good.

Ohohoh! Want to keep track of (or show off? lol) your knitting progress? I created a page on the KAL blog for just that.  If you need, you can just PM me everytime you finish a cloth and I'll put your name on the list and list what you finish.  You gotta PM me though, that's the only way it'll get done.

OR you can join and do it yourself.  I'm pretty sure it will work if you sign up.  Don't forget there's a gallery.  I would like to collect one good pic of every type of pattern as its done.  I don't know why I keep creating all this work for myself :-p
