I made one of these today:
http://criminyjickets.blogspot.com/2006/07/garterlac-dishcloth.html

I didn't notice this pattern listed in the OP, it's a fun knit.  I don't have a pic yet, but I'll add it when I get the chance.  it's a fun one.  I think it's simmilar to entrelac (sp?), but I'm not sure because I haven't tried that b-4.  anyway, I'm happy with it and it's my first handknit wachcloth of '08 Smiley

Mooshie,

I used that pattern.  It was my 1st foray into garterlac/entrelac last year.

IMO, it's a really well-written and concise pattern.  I didn't understood garterlac/entrelac until I came across that link.

It's a keeper!

I just thought I'd add that I'm totally in. I have never knit a dishcloth before, but after seeing all of those fun patterns, I had to start! I've knit two so far and I'm working on a third. I finished the first two last weekend! I don't have any pictures yet, but once I'm done with the next one, I'll post some pictures. I've just done some basic stitches so far. The one I'm working on now is the waffle stitch, one of the completed ones is the divided boxes stitch, and I can't for the life of me remember the last! But, enough rambling. I'll hopefully get some pictures up soon!

I love that stripe yarn (is that sugar n cream?).  I was at hobby lobby tonight and wanted to buy tons, I didn't buy any though (well I bought sugar n cream, just not the stripy ones).  I need to watch my money.

I hope my swap partner doesn't see this, but I want to create a knit pattern for dishcloth of chopsticks holding sushi.  I couldn't find any existing patterns for chopsticks or sushi.  If anyone knows of any, I would be happy to look at them.  I will work on this on Friday.  Hopefully my other two or three crafting projects for the swap will be done by then.  It will make my life easier.

Can't wait to see another Garterlac dishcloth.  I promise before my 40th birthday (at the end of April) to have done one of those.

I finished my waffle cloth today, but I'm being lazy & not taking a picture of it. Tongue I'm sure I will post one tomorrow.

As for the yarn I used, it's Sugar 'n Creme Stripes in Natural Stripes (I think that's what it's called) that the awesome Gizmonic sent me in a p-swap from this past summer, that I am way behind on reciprocating. Anyway, it's a self-striping yarn, so yes it's just one continuous strand. Awesome, no? Grin I am officially in love with this yarn, and desperately have to pick up some more....but I am MAKING myself use up my PnC/SnC stash before I buy any new cotton. Giz, have you seen the SnC Stripes in Green?? It's too die for!! *insert southern belle accent here* haha

Anywho, I've rambled enough. I started the Baked with Love cloth, although I'm not too jazzed by it yet. I haven't decided if I will finish it or frog it & start a new pattern. Only time will tell I guess. Tongue

p.s. Rupert Grint is delish!!

p.s.s. From last years KAL...my Garterlac:
