HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am trying this washcloth because it had some new 'stitches' that i have never tried before.
http://freepatterns.k1p1keepingyouinstitchesstudio.com/pea.html
Row 1: B4,k1,*
kwtog
,k3,yo,k1,yo,k3,sl1-k1-psso* k1,B4.
the kwtog is killing me. I have searched online. found a picture tutorial and i am still confused. anyone have some VERY SIMPLE instructions?
please.
It might be a misspelling. Perhaps it's
K2tog
. The 2 and W are right next to each other on the keyboard.
I vote misspelling.

this definately seems like it would work. I just put tick marks on a piece of paper and made sure the pattern would work through the whole row without leaving extra stitches, and it doesnt!!!!
woo hoo.
the only bad thing about this is she repeats the usage of kwtog throughout the whole pattern. And she also has k2tog in her pattern on other rows.
When i was searchiong on how to do it i found this page with a picture tutorial...somethin
g to do with wrapping the yarn....but i was just lost. here is the page i had found.

Funny, I just read about this last night. K3tog is the same as K2tog, except that you are knitting THREE stitches together at once. It's 'knitting gymnastics', I know...but I'm hoping that I can pull it off, given my usual tight tension. (I'm going to try the Primavera socks with a K3tog in the pattern...that's where I read about it.)
So, instead of inserting through 2 stitches, insert through 3 knitwise to work the stitch.
Later!

I'll be finishing washcloth number 3 tonight. It's the free round pattern from Mielkes website. I'll check to see if it is listed in the links in the first post.
The first one I finished it the DW Darrel Waltrip cloth. The second one is a still unphotographed "Chinese waves" cloth, and I'm so in love with it! The cloth and the pattern. It whips right up! It took like two nights. I messed up a lot, but that's because I knit by the light of a nightlight.
Anyway here's a picture of the DW, the ends aren't tucked yet in the picture but they are in real life:

I love your DW. I felt like my chinese wave took forever, but I am not exactly a fast knitter either.
Yay!! I am home safe and sound.

If i had to guesstimate I'd say my Chinese Waves took like 2 hours? Around 2 hours most likely. It seemed like I had no more then started it and I was done. I used a very bright colored variegated yarn and the pattern it made was just so awesome! Even my hubby was talking about how "one of the cool things about knitting is seeing the yarn do neat things like that"

Oh, that's so sweet of your husband to say that, m2b. My husband is supportive of my crafting, but he won't even USE a hand-knit cloth, even if it's the last one in the drawer. He's weird.
Great DW cloth, too!

All my hubby ever says is "are you DONE yet?" I guess he won't change his attitude until I make something for him.

My hubby always asks me to make him things. He really wants a hat, and I try and try, but he has a big head and I never manage to make one that fits! lol I knit him a skull washcloth for christmas. I noticed that pattern isn't on the link list on the first post, I'll have to try to share it, they (I made one for a friend too) came out great!
The colorway for that cloth is Sugar n Cream, oh I have to look online. My son ate the wrapper and I apparently don't have a second skein to look at. It must be "Sunkissed Ombre" That's the closest I see.
And for the curious ones before I post a pic my chinese waves used the Sugar N Cream "Playtime" yeah it's bright.
