This is my first quilt to actually complete.  I have started several quilt tops, but I'm a perfectionist and get frustrated and stop when I mess up.  I decided on this one that I was going to complete it no matter what, and that I was going to quilt it and bind it no matter how badly it turned out!

Here it is, hanging from my curtain rod:

It's only a lap size quilt and not very heavy, but I can't imagine trying to quilt anything bigger!

The stitching isn't perfect, and I didn't get the squares all lined up perfectly, but I like it.  I think the person I gave it to liked it as well.  (I hope it doesn't damage a relationship by giving a quilt early on... I really don't want to scare my new girlfriend off...)

I used the Full Moon Forest charm pack because I loved the colors and prints, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on fabric for a quilt that I wasn't sure I'd complete.

I'm glad I finished it, and I think it turned out nicely -- now I'm not so scared to try another one!

Congratulations on completion!  Sometimes the most important and difficult part of a project is just seeing the dang thing through to the end.  Those are some bright, pretty fabric in the squares.  I especially like the tree trunk print.

Great first effort!!  I really like those charm packs - a bunch of different fabric that all goes together is my idea of fun.  Don't worry about the small imperfections in a quilt - they lend a quilt personality.  Perfection is over-rated.

One is less than three.

You did a wonderful job!  I recently did one almost the same - only different colour scheme - it definately makes you feel good when you can get it finished, I'm the same as you, I give up if its not perfect!

Great job, I just bought some charm packs, haven't figured out what I am going to do with them yet, but this gives me some great ideas.
