'Fraid I'm going to have to sit this one out - going into swap rehab because I need to be more careful with the spending but mostly because I'm unbelievably late ON MY OWN SWAP.

No crafting time, but I'll pay attention to this swap, I'm sure it will be great!

That's sad.   I just went through a severe bought with depression/anxiety and all the aches and pains that went with it and had a few swaps that it took me a while to get finished.
I will be doing another one in February.  Hope you can join then.

I've just sent in my info! I tried to resist, and that lasted all of 10 seconds Grin Grin  I have a couple of other swaps I plan to join, but this one is small and irresistable!

And, money is tight, but I have such a HUGE stash of stuff that I should be able to make everything from what I already have. At least that's what I'm hoping. So, my only expense will be shipping!

Thanks, bronzfrog, for organizing this! And, if you end up needing a co-organizer, I'd be happy to help!

thanks for the invite, bronzfrog, but i'm going to have to sit this one out. i'm on a self-imposed swap exile because i have many, many projects piling up. my new year's resolution is to make everything i already have all the fabric/supplies for...i intend to use ALL of my fabric (right down to the scraps) before committing to any other projects. i think it will take me the better part of winter and spring to do this!

but i will surely be watching this swap to see all of the awesome froggy craftiness that i am missing out on and to ooooh and ahhhh over everything so that maybe i'll have to break my resolution and join the february frog swap. Cheesy

I really love frogs (I have since I was a kid and I'm 39 now), but I am not really sure what I can craft with my knitting skills (I don't know how to knit animals and this won't be my month to try).  I can also do beading and I have tried my hand a embroidery.  My polymar clay skills still leave something to be desired.  I do like the fact that the requirements are one medium and two small.  If you can give me some ideas, I may consider joining.  I did take a couple of excellent frog pictures this last summer (though one frog was bitten  Sad).  That isn't really crafting though.  I am having crafting block.

There were some really cool frog crafts in the pond friends swap.

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=178269.0

I have decopaged frog images onto tiles.  You could decopage onto boxes, plates and other things.

You could knit a purse and put a frog on it.

Stencil a frog on a shirt.

Bubble magnets or print frog images and put magnet "paper" on the back.

I got a really cool tote in a swap where someone took a purchased tote and did the image with a bleach pen.

I got a frog hat that I LOVE in a swap.  You could also do a scarf, slippers.

I've gotten earrings made out of frog buttons.

Here's a knit frog.

Cover a journal with frog images or fabric.

I got some cool cards in a swap.

I do bottle cap earrings and microscope slide pendants.

This could be put on a scarf, dishcloth or bag?  http://www.knittingonthenet.com/patterns/motiffrog.htm

I think I saw a pot holder that was in the shape of a lily pad.  Not sure if it was knitted or crotched.

I need to start a blog because I have gotten some of the coolest frog stuff from my swap partners.
