I tried my hand at selling on eBay but the competition is tough and the market is very saturated.  Besides, I wanted time to sew what I wanted rather than whatever the "in-thing" or upcoming launch was.  Sometimes I miss the pure creativity and inspiration of it all, but I also like being able to indulge in my other 18 or so hobbies.   Cheesy

Here are some pics of things I have done in the past:

I have lots more, but these were in my photobucklet and I am getting lazy tonight LOL  I am currently working on a hoodie and a few other things that I can't wait to share.

Thanks for looking!

I just love the bright colors of yellow and green combo in the last one. Perfect bright ones for tiny tots...

Sewing for children can be very creative--love the bright colors...and you must love details--that is what seems to make the clothes so unique and fun:  the applique, the ruffles, etc. Good job!

Jan, you totally hit Bingo.  I LOVE the details!  That is how I got into sewing the boutique like clothes.  I loved all the detail those designers put into their work but I couldn't afford the prices.  I have been sewing clothing and other things for years so the boutique-y stuff just progressed naturally.  Not without it's frustrations and learning the hard way a few times LOL  You have to rip to stitch right?  Cheesy

They are all wonderful! Especially love the applique of the first.

I enjoy looking on ebay for inspiration when I'm feeling the need for botique-y clothes for my tyke, so I understand your comment about saturation...there is a *ton* of handmade clothes. Sorry it's so tough.

Your model (your daughter?) is beautiful, too. Love the chocolate brown eyes!
