Hey again,

This is a shirt i did today. I decided to do something simpler than the last thing i did and I think it came out pretty cool. I got the idea from a Threadbangers episode but I decided to personalize it more to suit my style. I decided to use these camisoles that a lot of people are wearing in Barbados because they're relatively cheap...though not cheap enough for me lol. we seriously have little variety when it comes to clothes Sad
i chose royal purple and hot pink for mine, diagonal stripes and cute little purple and gold buttons.

what they started as

what they became

Let me know what you think. Thanks.

AWESOME WORK! I LOVE IT! I saw the same clip from threadbanger as well and that was on my to do list. I like your idea better though about the diagonal stripes.

this rocks! I think i'm going to mix up a few of my camy's! some of mine are too short and this would be a great way to lengthen them

kind of confused on your whole theme. Huh
i don't know... it's a little busy for my taste, and the colors remind me of cheap nailpolish. the buttons are a little much, but it's okay quality-wise, except for the purple stripes are a little strange.
oh, i see. it's 'distressed'... maybe make neater?
i would use the hot pink and white next time?
oh, or blue and white.

I like that.  I am not sure where you saw this done at, but I would like to try this with some cami that I get.  I have huge arms, so this is something that I would do to take some of the focus off of my arms.  Good job, I like!!!

Thanks! I plan to mix it up a bit and play with some effects. I'll post them when I'm done.

No problem. I got the idea from a threadbanger episode http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzvJsmlRMuQ. the whole point is to reinterpret the normal striped t shirt and make it different. This can be done with any variation of colours, I chose these randomly and thought they looked cool together. I put the buttons on because I like them, I understand not everyone will. I dress for me but I respect everyone will have a different opinion and they are entitled to it. Smiley I should also mention that this is only my second time sewing anything...

I'm completely impressed. I love your tank. I was amazed to find out that this was your 2nd sewing project. By far way better than mine! I'm thinking about making one myself.
