Adding to the praise of how cute that is and adding to the request for more information about how you did it.  My dad died a couple years ago and I kept one of his sweaters for myself, but it's not at all flattering on me since I'm not a man of 6'3" and I'd love to recon it into something cute to wear.

If you have time, would you consider posting some instructions on how to recreate this?  Maybe it's really obvious, but I'm totally new to sewing and the method I'm thinking of probably doesn't actually work in real life.
