I wanted my gift to be something reeeeally special, as my Mum and I are close for first time...anyway, I'll cut to the gifts.

i GAVE HER A BOOK ON JOHN LENNON, A COPY OF IMAGINE- HER FIRST EVER LP, A HANDMADE CANDLE HOLDER AND CERAMIC POT WHICH I PICKED UP AT A LOCAL CRAFT FAIR.

I also made a scrapbook of photos from my mums childhood until now, featuring special occasions and losts of cool pix of my brothers and i...

EVERYTHING HANDMADE BY ME...

Her card:

inside and envelope

the envelope was made from a designer wallpaper sample i had picked up

close up

 THE PILLOW

this was made again by hand, intended to sit on bed

i included  bunch of other stuff too, but irrelevant here

What do you think, comments always appreciated

thanks for looking!

Very thoughtful, she will love it I'm sure.  So many items, and all made with love - the best part of any gift.
Life is too short not to appreciate every day you are fortunate to have family.

Best wishes
