I love the rose one, it is very professionally finshed and something I would buy. The blue one is not really my style but I'm sure someone will come along shortly and have the opposite opinion Smiley

I agree with the previous comment, the rose is my fave, not sure about the ribbon on it but the zip is a great match,
nice work

Many thanks for your comments.  great to get some construcive feedback! I hope the recipients of the gifts were  happy  with them - they said so but you can never tell if they are being polite....always the danger with giving handmade gifts.

I think that with a littlemore practice, you'd be ready to sell these in no time! I can see talent in your little bags, they just need refinement. Generally, when people buy things that are handamde, they want the quality to rival that of what they would find in a store. This usually means no loose threads, even stitching, patterns and grain lining up, sharp corners, etc. I say that you should make a couple more, try a few different techniques and patterns (you don't have to buy 'em, just fool around with your own). With just a little more practice, you'll be ready to make some moolah from your labrs of love.

By the way, your recipients love them. I know it, who couldn't?

Thank you for the constructive feedback. I had previously overlooked this fact, naivety i think.

i  intend to experiment more and eventually try to sell - paying more attention to the finer detail of work. i think time is the asset here, i had rushed them before christmas!

many thank yous!
