we took out our old bathroom vanity to update the bathroom. I hated to throw it out so we used some pine boards for the top and stained it. now it is my new sewing area, we wanted to save it from the landfill because it still had some life left in it..... I think it looks nice. And it was just crying out for a new purpose in life

This looks pretty neat - and if you want to jazz it up even more - you have plenty of white surface to play with.

I'm a dabbler.  I know just a bit about almost everything, but expert at nothing.  Working on that though.

Thats super nice =D I really like it a lot. My only problem would be where to put my legs while sitting at the sewing machine =p

Wow, what a great recon!  I'm jealous.  I want to rip out my bathroom cabinets now, but my craft room is the living/dining room.  Smiley

Woowza, you must have had one huge bathroom!  I'm lucky to get one cabinet and a drawer!  That was a great idea though, plenty of storage for fabric!
