I'm sorry, I was excited

I was at Meijer yesterday getting some groceries and stuff.
I stopped down the yarn clearance aisle.  They keep the cotton near the clearance, so 2 birds with one stone, right? :p

Well, I looked over at the rack and OMG.
Right there in front of me was a PERFECT CONDITION SKEIN of superwash 75% merino 25% nylon fingering weight Lion Brand Magic Stripes for A DOLLAR FIFTY!!!

I'm actually learning to knit socks, and I don't have any fingering weight aside from this skein while I wait for my order from KnitPicks, so it was an amazingly timed find as well, hah.

They've had that stuff on clearance for forever! I don't live that close to a Meijer, but every time I go, I check out the clearance yarn! I bought six skeins of the magic stripes. Socks, here I come!
