Shouldn't that be a harepiece?

...I'm sorry. I'll go.

He really does look angry. Poor Mr Janice, never able to be truly comfortable with his sexuality due to the adolescent trauma of forced transvestitism.

haha you guys are all very punny Smiley Mister Janice is not amused! But I am hehe.

Day 30 January 30, 2008
Bee Mine.
Ink and marker

Day 31 January 31, 2008
Nice Bunny.
Ink and marker.

Not a lot of story behind these except that that bunny really likes you guys.  With Bar-B-Q sauce I think!

Tonight I tried to do a more umm assemblage type card on chipboard... and I'm going to need to spend a lot more time on it!!

So far I've managed to glue 2 dowels to a few ink pens, there are 4 clamps on the piece right now, probably glued to it with my luck, and there is glitter everywhere.  Seriously it looks like a fairy blew up in my room... and I'm not even using glitter!  What fun.  I never read anywhere that you were supposed to open a bottle of wine when doing assemblage, you guys need to keep me up to date on these things!

I love the colors you used on Bee Mine and both of them are just as beautiful as the rest.

I'll have to keep in mind about the wine though  Grin

I LIKE the bunny. *bad scottish accent* "It's got grrreat big TEETH!". I hope that bee is delivering a card from another seagull though. I can't quite envision how a bee/seagull relationship would work...
Background on the bunny card is cool too, I can see the Froud-ish influence there.

Exploding fairy... that mental image is going to stay with me all day Cheesy

Haha! My husband knows when I've been doing collage work, he always asks if I've been holding preschool art class. I like exploding fairy images better, though! And I love the sweet bee and happy bunny cards!

Thank you so much for the compliments and for looking!  Extremely relieved here to know that others get messy while creating too hehe.

The nice bunny was from a sketch in my sketchbook and so are these next two.

Day 32 February 01, 2008
Watercolor Pencil.
Siren.

Exposed Breasts Warning.

I didn't know if I could post the picture with boobies so let me know if I should keep as is or post the picture Smiley

Day 33 February 02, 2008
Watercolor, Ink, Marker, and Watercolor pencil.
Azure

The mermaid was done in my sketchbook while thinking of paintings for my niece Sirena, who collects mermaids, of course!

Azure is AzureGrackle from etsy and I had done some sketches of some of my friends from etsy last year.  There are really some awesome people and artists there of course, and AzureGrackle is both Smiley

Micky (who will hit post before a cat erases the entire thing again! grr hehe)

**p.s. OH I did use stamps for the words, I got this little alphabet one for $1 at target a while back.  I wet the watercolor pencil and drew on the stamp, then pressed it to the paper**

I have been peeling dried matt medium and colored papertowels off my hands for two days now!! I love the visual of an exploding fairy, too. That is what I will say happened next time my hubby is trying to wipe pieces of glitter off my face (and I rarely use glitter, to have no idea how I end up wearing it so often!).
