I have old purses in a varitey of colors and shapes! I dont use them so i dont know what to do with them now? any ideas? Huh Huh

Ooo, I can sympathise! I nver thought of doing anything with them though... I was just going to stick them in the dress-up box for the kids!

Many years ago, I had a good vinyl purse (naugahide).  It was fabric backed and quite sturdy.  When the handle broke, the lining was yukky, I figured it was time to do something with it.  I cut the vinyl into swuares, and using an awl, I punched holes evenly around each square.  I crocheted around each square with postal twine, joined a few squares for each side, crocheted a gusset to fit the 3 sides, and crocheted a handle.  I also crocheted a little button loop and attached it to the back and crocheted a little button for the front.  It came out fantastic.

Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
