This is my first made-up pattern and my first crocheted uterus.  It was easier than I thought it would be.  I didn't quite know how to make the fallopian tubes and those little "phalange" things and it never occurred to me to use the good ole intarweb for a diagram, but after I sewed the tubes on, I realized they were pointing in the wrong direction.  Oh, well.  The funny thing is that I made a uterus purse out of felt with the same error for the same friend who gets this amigurumi femme bit!  Roll Eyes

Anyway, here's a couple of modeled shots:

And this is for my friend Elwood.  It's my first hat.  It's modeled by my jar of tealights.

Comments 'n' critiques welcomed!

Pattern Removed:
Okay, I was stoked that I was in the Bitch List in Bitch Magazine (or rather, my uterus was) but a few friends linked to me two sites where people were selling that EXACT pattern I posted - which upset me because, well, hey, it came from my head not theirs! If anyone should get money for it, it should be me, but because I didn't want the money and wanted to share the pattern freely, someone had to go be a butthead and sell my pattern as their own.  Fail.  So, if anyone would like the pattern, please PM me b/c I will still happily share it for free but I'd prefer not to post it on the site.  Gracias!  Smiley

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!

Okay so I lost my uterus not so long ago.   I think I need to make one of these to memorialize my babies' first home...

Awesome!

Hahahaha... when I saw this on the front page I had no idea what that first thing was but i clicked it because it looked so damn happy. Now that I know its a uterus that makes it even funnier, haha. Very unique!

Thanks everyone!  Cheesy  I'm pretty proud of this.  I finally finished something...!!!  That doesn't happen too often.

TracyBSN-I started to write down what I was doing as I was making it then I put the project down for a couple of weeks and I made up the rest tonight.  If I can find my "pattern" I'll happily post it for you, though it wasn't hard to make.

Does everyone see the cervix or am I just making up anatomy now??  Tongue
