I make charms, you see, and I've been looking for a jewelery resource site that sells really cheap cord or metal chains with fastens to put charms on. All I've found are chains from Dick Blick (love of my life)

http://www.dickblick.com/zz606/25/

I'm looking for essentially this or simple cord chains with fastens at very low (under a dollar at least) prices, and I was wondering if anyone knows any good craft sites where I can find this.

Just to make myself clear, I'm looking for a reputable site to buy these from and am not intending to solicite offers from people on craftster.

Thanks for your help!

I know on the Ring Lord, I found chain (biggest gauge wire that'll go through it is 20 g) for 50 cents per foot. It doesn't come with the clasps though, so those would be extra (and they sell them too, I'm just not sure of the price)

Neat, but I'm looking for something a bit more pre-assembled.

are you looking for huge bulk amounts or just a few at a time?

www.firemountaingems.com has them in bulk for as little as 50 cents a chain, depending on the type of chain and how many you order. they come seperate or in packages of a few (the cheapest are in packs of 10) in a few different lengths.

there are silver and gold plated or all silver/all gold. obiously the plated ones are on the cheaper side.

fire mountain gems is a wonderful seller with really quick shipping as long as what you want is in stock. luckily, they tell you if it is or not.
