Recently, I was the lucky recipient of a huge box of vintage trims and notions, from my wonderful aunt!  I've started putting them to good use.  I thrifted this plain navy blue sweater in Japantown in San Francisco recently, and added some of the lace trim and two little doilies.  I really love the combination of navy blue and creamy crocheted lace!





I wrote a little bit more about (and photos are posted) in my blog as well, if you're interested.  I'm really interested in experimenting a little more and maybe dyeing some of these doilies fun colors next time!
