mclianne! What you made is great! Thanks so much for hanging in until the end on this one! I know things were crazy on your end, but you did great and I can't wait to see what else you made for monkeythumb!

Those undies are great, and I like the pink jewellery case (it can always be re-gifted my way!).  The stained glass picture is amazing, I bet it looks very dramatic on the hoodie.

I just received a little something extra today from the wonderful Ma Rut!  My very own owl address lables.  Grin

They are so great, I love them!  And, I have to tell you that I have gotten soooo many compliments on my owl bag.   Cheesy

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You MonkeyThumb!  I received my owly package yesterday afternoon.  I was going grocery shopping and there it was in my mailbox.  I fully intended to wait until I returned home to open it, but couldn't wait.  So it was opened in the parking lot of Walmart, with my 2 girls in the backseat saying, "can I see? can I see?  Is it for me mommy?!  OOOO, that's beyouteeful mommy!"  Without further ado, here it is...

First an over all view:

There was very cute needlebook.  Got to learn hoe to hand embroider and do a blanket stitch... And
an owl trinket dish she found in a thrift store.  Very cool rendition of an owl...

There was also a sparkly yellow pencil, with a teeny owl eraser cozy.  LOVE IT!

MonkeyThumb says this was her first attempt at bookbinding, shall we believe her?  The owl fabric is great and I love the inside leafy pattern.  It will come in handy to keep track of swapish things.

There was a great set of owl cards, with many different style of owls.  I wonder Whoooo will get the first one in the mail?

And my three favorites:

A "How are you feeling today" card.  When you turn the wheel at the bottom of the card, the paper pieced owls eyes change, changing his mood.  So clever!

A set of 3 stuffy owls, connected with braided yarn with a lovely little bell on the end.  They are each unique and can be separated if I want them separated.  Too cute!

Last, but certainly not least.  My new owl pin cushion!  I so love the material.  And it is just adorable.  The poor thing was with out a tree to sit in so it had to make do with my pathetic herb container from lat summer.  He looks a bit bewildered to be sitting amongst the Rosemary don't you think?  lol

Again, thank you for being my almost angel/2nd swap partner MonkeyThumb, you were awesome!

I am so very happy that you received everything and that you like it all. Making owls was so fun, I'm glad I had a chance to make even more of them.

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.
