oh Daina, Purpleheather, keep the faith! it'll show up! my parcel from australia took 4Ever! when i posted back to her i was told that my parcel would take "weeks". grr. i expect at least two, At Least!!! yours will get there, it will it will it will!

i was at my friends for dinner tonight and there were owls on my dessert spoon! i showed her and she saw them too! the eyes were flowers, so pretty. have to sketch and stitch....

Yeah, today makes three weeks. I really don't want to have an angel simply because the post is stupid. That Angel could be angeling for someone else, someone who didn't have a partner as great as I had:(
I'll be leaving sometime friday to take a bus to columbus oh and take care of an insanely crazy family emergency (my family is full of crazies and I really would love to dis-own them, but I am a good person and the whole love your neighbor, which includes crazy family, is kinda stuck in my head....)
I really hope to have some sort of owly to keep me company on the bus trip (cheaper than gas, plus I'll be driving a small moving truck back)
So keep me in your thoughts. And if you're the praying kind, I could use lots of those too!

Thanks everyone!!!!!

Ok then, if needed, T-dub can be your angel (as long as it doesn't take away from MY gnome goodness!) I'm just kidding though! It'll be t-dub if nothing comes through by Monday.
You are too funny my dear!
I hope the package comes too. Did she not get a tracking number?
Let me know the status and I dont expect anything in return! Things like this happen... it suck but it happens.

To answer for purpleheatherl, it was an overseas package, so I don't know about tracking it. She's, I believe, out on holiday for a week, so hopefully the package will arrive to daina's soon and if not we can attempt to start tracking it down, but I don't know how to go about it with an over seas package.

In my other swap, it took 5 weeks for one of my memebers to get their package!!!!  She said that it had been taking about a month for things to get into her country from the US... there is a chance it's just taking it's dear sweet time through customs.

Yeah, sorry, I could have answered this one. There is a tracking number, but all it tells is when it was dropped off at her post and when it makes it to my house. It doesn't really "track" the process of it getting here. A silly type of tracking number, huh.....? Oh, and they make you wait 30 days before they start doing anything about anything....when it comes to international...

Great Britain. I had to seriously hunt someone down who could give me that info! I finally got to a person who could tell me anything, he said since it was sent by Great Britains Priority-type nail, it should be within three weeks. Seriously I got the run around for about three hours

Ah the joys of our great Royal Mail, they are famous for the erratic style delivery.  I can send something and it will arrive the next day (within UK) and I can send something (within UK) and it can take weeks. Sad  Internationally it's the same but not so much the next day Grin

My partner has received, so here's what I sent:

A felt owl ipod case.  This is the second ipod case I've attempted.
The first one I made for myself several years ago and it didn't turn out well at all.  I was very pleased with the results this time around.

Machine embroidered belt pouch.  I'm still getting the hang of my embroidery machine... I was disappointed that I wasn't able to use some of my own owl drawings, but I haven't quite figured out how to digitize my stuff yet.

painted wooden box with polymer clay owly!

wee owl stuffy

silly squished owl "art" in a painted and buttoned frame.  I used pheasant feathers that my aunt collects from her yard.
