I'm becoming really obsessed with buying beautiful (expensive!!) handspun yarn. My question is- what kind of items do you guys make to show it off in all its glory? I mean, a girl can only have so many scarves, armwarmers and hats. I'm tempted to make little wrist cuffs out of all the yarn I buy and match them to my outfits.

I think a great thing to do with special yarns is feature it as a trim or accent on a garment.

See for example, Excuses.

or if you're not big into garments, trim on an afghan?

a little handspun should go a long way if you trim a lap blanket with it.
