Wow, I never thought my first-time Crafster project post would be crochet! I'm really more of a knitter.  But, because my boyfriend loves penguins so much, when I found this pattern (http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/70583AD.html) from Lion Brand, I had to re-teach myself!

Here is the pre-gift pictures:

I made two, one with a bow, but that's just the first one.  Anyway, I wanted to make them a surprise before I gave them to my boyfriend, but he saw my flickr feed and knew he was getting them!!!!! Oh well.

Anyway, when I went to visit him for Christmas, he surprised me with this cute story he made about the penguins! He took them all over town and photographed them going to places that we visit.  You can click through the whole thing here: http://umaine.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2110175&l=a11d1&id=5800548.

Very cute and the story and photos is absolutely heartwarming!  You two are quite the creative duo!  I love the story and all the pics, especially 4.  #8 is so sweet, and then there's 6 and 7...  Heck, every single one of them is so perfect.   Grin  Thanks so much for sharing!

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!
