This hat pattern from the December/January issue of Crochet Today, called the Baby Bobble Hat. I did it in Bernat's Cottontots in white because it was to be a shower gift and don't know if it's a boy or a girl. But my husband tells me it's too big for a baby. The hat is about 16 inches in diameter, is that about the size of a toddler's head? Is there a chart of average head sizes?

I'm not sure what size fits what age-- and they are all different anyways!! the point is, your hat's gorgeous, and it will EVENTUALLY fit, even if it doesn't right away.

Very cute hat, I made one using RH Baby, and it turned out too big for a newborn, but good for a toddler...here is a page that lists sizes for babies, hope it helps.
