13.  Batch of cards for swaps for an email list I'm on.  Favorite one:

14.  Another batch of cards for eventual sale, hopefully to co-workers.  Favorite of these:

I have lots more card ideas which is unusual for male-oriented cards--loving the chance to use some of these darker/neutral/earth tones!  I'm sure after another week or two I'll be more than ready to get back to bright summery colors.

Post of all the cards I made the last two weekends is here:

15.  Altered dry erase board (birthday present for partner):

16.  Pineapple Upside Down Cupcakes--turned out very yummy! (also for partner's b-day last week):

I'm loving all the stuff everyone is posting.  That felted bag is totally awesome, katz!  And I love the glass marble magnets too, I've been meaning to make some batches of those forever.

#49 Something for me for a change *lol*
I got this piece of fabric in a huge stash from a lady on Freecycle last year, I knew I wanted to make myself something with it but I didn't have much so it's been tucked away in a box until this morning when I decided it was to be a cushion cover  Grin

...thanks for the bag love.. I had to hurry and make myself one or that one would never have made it to my friends birthday get together...

...Kookaloo..I think you're right... the fabric HAD to become a cushion cover... sort of retro I think..

..and how absolutely brilliant are pineapple upside down cupcakes???  I'm older then dirt and hadn't even thought of making cupcakes... I usually avoid the whole pineapple upside down thing cause of the mess in the pan etc..but cupcakes... yea, I'm feeling it...

The cupcakes worked out great!  Unfortunately pineapple upside down cake is my partner's favorite and always her request.  The cupcakes were fast and easy and not too messy.  I made half with cherries and half without, per the requests of the people who were going to eat them.  The original recipe calls for pineapple rings (you cut a little notch from the ring to make it fit in the bottom of the cupcake cup) but partner prefers chopped so that was even easier.

Recipe was from here:

It was low key but fun!  One of these years we'll throw a real party but this wasn't the year...  We had a nice little dinner with a couple of close friends and enjoyed the cupcakes for dessert.  I look forward to making them again, they were pretty easy!
