okay so i know that i got super lazy there for awhile so here are my projects so far:
1. an elf hat for my boy, i made some for his sisters years ago and he decided he needed one too:

2. a hat for my youngest daughter, she picked out the colors and style, its a bit big for her but she loves it:

and an action shot:

3.a quilt (my first) that i didn't get done in time for xmas, finally finished it in april:

4. i made four bunnies for easter but didn't take a pic before they got packed away with the easter stuff.

5. my oldest got this doll for xmas from an aunt, but it was totally in pieces as it is porcelain and didn't ship well so i tries to put it back together and wired and glued it to a piece of foam core then framed it:

6. xmas 2 page scrapbook layout for some pics from '07:left side and right side

7. i made a few quilt blocks out of my kids old clothing. we rearranged the living room and it left some big blank spots on the walls, so i framed them. when i get enough done i will make them into a quilt, but for now they will decorate my walls:

8. another two page scrapbook layout:  left side
and right

9. a framed page that will hang in my daughters room:

10. and another: the top pic on this one keeps sliding down i'm gonna have to glue it down tape is just no sticking.

11. i did a simple blanket for my neighbor's son but didn't get pics.

i've got plenty more projects in various stages of creation plus a Pygmy puff i made for my daughter floating around somewhere, i'll snap a pick the next time it surfaces.so i guess that wraps it up for now.  i get a burst of inspiration everytime i look through all the posted projects on here, thanks guys.

katchoo1, I LOVE those recycled pet toys! I am so making some for my mom's rascals! Does your name refer to Terry Moore's Katchoo from Strangers in Paradise, by the way?

Why yes, it does refer to that Katchoo.  I'm a fan going back to the original 3-issue series.

Thanks for saying something about my pet toys!  They were getting lonely.  I am going to make some more so I can get ahead of Ms. Joey Pants (the one who likes to kill toys) and have some stashed away for the next time she goes on a multi-victim rampage.  It is very funny watching her excitedly ripping the guts out of a toy and flinging the fluff around, though.

I must have missed the pet toys, I'll scroll back and have a look  Smiley I got a new kitten at the weekend and he needs some toys, all he has at the moment is a pair of socks and some paper flowers tied to the door handle with yarn *lol*

Hehe, I know what you mean! Our dog likes to rip limbs off and she had this giraffe type animal. So we play fetch 'the limb' since we have four! It was funny until she had a leg amputated since the stuff animal fur is the same color as hers. Actually, it's funny but it's sick too. Smiley

Nah it's all funny.  And sick.  The best kind.  We had 2 one-eyed shih tzus (we still have one, the other died last year) and we always giggle at "It's all fun and games til someone loses an...oh, wait..." jokes.

I have a dog we named shakes when she was a baby only to find out years later that she has seizures (silent seizures so she doesn't shake and thrash about).  my vet wouldn't see her anymore cuz he couldn't control her seizures and suggested i take her to a specialist an hour away.   I was literally cracking up when they asked what her prob was (seizures) and then her name (shakey or shakes).  she paused for a moment and then said very seriously asked "is that why you named her that"
My other dog Sarah doesn't want anyone to have any toys but her so when i get toys for the dogs i always buy 3 (i have 3 dogs) and give them each one.   within 20 minutes, Sarah will have all three and be throwing all the stuffing (there must be a whole mattress in each tiny toy if you ask me) all over the place.  But not to all three, only two--she leaves hers so she has one.  haha
