I'm looking for some crafty folks for knitting, sewing, any sort of crafty fun. Existing group is great, or we can form our own!

Where do you live? I'd be down, but I'm often busy in the evening..

Me tooooo!  I live in the Georgetown/Glover Park area but would be willing to travel, especially if it were on the weekend.

I've already met up with a girl from Craftster to knit pretty frequently and we are thinking of setting the place for somewhere near Dupont Circle?

I've seen some shops that do a monthly meeting, but would you guys be up for weekly? Bi-weekly? What days and times are good for y'all, and let me know of any ideas you have for places to meet!

I don't know if you're on ravelry, but there is a group that meets weekly (I think) in Dupont Circle at Cosi's.
I live in Petworth so its hard for me to get down there after work- I usually get home around 7-7:30. I thought it might be cool to start a group that meets at people's houses? Knitting, booze and gossip is ideal for me.

I am so glad I checked in, then! I just started a craft group to encourage some crafty DC people to get together: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CraftyCircle
I crochet every Saturday near Dupont Circle, whether anyone shows or not (but the company of fellow crafters would be nice!).

I'll be in Kalorama tomorrow; the Starbucks at 18th Street & Columbia Road, at 2pm.  I'd love some crafty company, so come if you can!

There is an existing DC Stitch n' Bitch group that meets on Sundays and Thursdays; you can find more info at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SnB_DC/.

Hi, all!

I live in DC (Van Ness) and I'd love to meet more knitters and crocheters and well just crafty folks Smiley  A weekly knitting group sounds like fun.
