Im in desperate need of some sort of pattern onto one of these style dresses..

I'm almost positive I saw a pattern like the first one from either McCalls or Vogue.  I think I have it and I'll post the number if I can find it.

If you can't find a pattern ,just use the pictures to disect the dress. The one with Cherry Dollface would be a good one to look at. you can see seams on it,

the first one's really just a galaxy dress, if you try searching for that in google etc you should find plenty!

Sulkycat thanks for that link...I'm a HUGE fan of "50s Pinup" clothes and that pattern is great!...

I'm actually TRYING to make a pinup-ish dress out of a bra right now...LOL so far so good but not great...owning a dressform would so help  Sad

no problem, am after a full skirted 50s dress at the mo (well, the pattern for one), the only one i have really liked is a vogue one too, but its sooooo expensive! might have to play around & make my own pattern, but i really dont have the time / energy to do that anymore
